Day 7 – Switzerland

Luzern, Switzerland

First things first – snacks. Whenever we take a train somewhere, snacks are a huge priority. When we are leaving from Paris, we prefer to bring a nice baguette, some Coca-Cola, and an assortment of other treats from the boulangerie.

Once we arrived in Luzern, we walked the few blocks to our hotel and got settled in. We had to grab some snacks, so we went to the nearest store and got some amazing, fresh orange juice. This is our favorite drink in Europe. Local stores have a machine that squeezes the oranges into the bottles right in front of you so it is as fresh as it gets.

The next morning we headed up to Mt. Pilatus. We hopped onto a Gondola, and went up the mountain.

At the top, there was a store with lots of treats, and a really fun slide as well. After taking several trips on the slide, we grabbed a popsicle and started the descent. Prepare yourself for a ton of photo’s.

After a great hike down the mountain, we decided to visit the lake.

To finish off an amazing day, we made a stop at the local gelato stand.
