Day 5 – Paris

You know those moments when you drop food on the floor and then throw it away? Well, that didn’t happen this morning, but if it did, we definitely would not have thrown it away. This morning we went to a lovely boulangerie and tried this treat called a macaronade. It is basically a giant macaron with cream and raspberries in the middle. It was amazing!

After a lovely breakfast that I think about every day, we went for a nice stroll down some French streets, hopped on a few trains, and ended up at Versailles.

Next up, we went to the Louvre. It is an awesome museum. We saw some pretty cool stuff, including the Mona Lisa, which by the way, is smaller than you would think. Like, really, really small. But, no worries, because it’s got its own wall.

Not sure who this lady is, but it seems as though she is not somebody that you want to irritate…

We finished off the evening by watching the lights twinkle on the Eiffel Tower.
